Aw man, look at that detail. I love it. That' sort of the theme I'm going for in my comic, humans as sort of aliens to morphed animals. Man, I just love that detail

I must confess that I was inspired by some photos I saw from the Vetnam era about the destruction of Hue, (And you can correct me if I'm wrong.) a moden, thriving city in South East Asia. Actually the one human did do a lot of damage in the town all by herself, but the burned out car was from an earlier raid. The humans in this scenario were outnumbered 1,000 to 40,000 Lycalli. Thus, the humans had to resolve to some pretty nasty tactics to hold the planet until reenforcements arrived.

So it was pitting rather spacey technology against circa 1966 US military technology?
If that's the case, then I'm really interested in this story.

I must confess that I have an appreciation for the US Vietnam era weaponry and vehicles. The wolf like Lycalli, separated from Human space after the Gene-Tech wars that created them and quickly became a space colonizing force to be reconed with. Using data "Stolen" from Human archives, they adopted weaponry similar to that used in the late 20th Century in the Terran Sector. The equipment was cheaper to produce, easier for the Lycalli to use and maintain, and worked more efficently in the jungle and forest environments of the planet "Burning Stone" which both the Humans and Lycalli were trying to take control of. Oh they have ray guns, bolt throwers and robot machine guns too, but they just last long in the Jungles.
