Well.. now this is a solid story.. A little short perhaps, but good nonetheless and very solid use of language. Good Work.
Again there could have been a bit more of character description, but well it is quite fine the way it is.

Upon starting reading this chapter I wondered if i missed out on something, for there is a huge gap in time between the prologue and the first chapter, but once you started explaining it, it became clear that the prologue was not an introduction for the main characters as it usually is, but a brief introduction on the backstory itself.

Overall: Well Done.

agreed with the comment above could have been longer but interesting idea all the same. you got all forms of animal mixed in with key details that show how thing have changed or affected the people. I do have this to ask. was this influnce from the old ninja turtals or the book that had the doctore changing people to animals on his island?

actually, it just seemed plausibe to have a genetic answer to the whole thing. it was inspired by the recent event where scientists made a monkey /jelly fish hybrid or something like that

it was mostly monkey but had some jelly dna in it it didn't manifest as much as my splicing did in the story. again this guy was a genius before he went bat shit crazy

did he realy go crazy? peraps the thing in that happens in your story could realy be more helpful.

that was certainly his intention, but i'm going to get into it latter about why it was a bad thing.

let make a shot in the dark about it. do to the splicing and the mixing of dna of wildy different spicies the people end up dieing do to the cells rejecting each other. or we start to regress.
