So this is the 5th species of the species challenge I was doing to create examples for my commissions.
This time it is a pangolin under the sun. Wearing a work apron and tools, he is probably regretting his job under this hot sun. I think we all have one of those days where it is just too hot.
After the last background goof of the Aardvarkm I had decided to go back to basics and try focusing on making the background more pleasing to the eye than last time. Even though it's not a complex background, I ended up being able to tell the environment and temperature without having to draw it in detail. I think it came out pretty well.
