This piece was intended as an exercise in coloring (original B/W piece is in scraps).

In the years I've learned a lot of techniques for digital coloring, but never got a chance to use them, as comic work in Italy is almost entirely black & white.

Switching from an inker/painter's mindset to a colorist's one is WAY harder than i would have expected. I had to restart coloring and re-ink the drawing many times. It wasn't much fun, but i discovered a lot of things in the process.
