i appreciate it. thankfully i still make art, though this was done in sai. i use ipad mostly now so I am trying to figure out how to do this in procreate or clip studio.

This looks great! The shading and detail are magnificent. If I were to compare it to anything it'd be the best parts of Carrot's black and white sketches with a bit of TheFuckingDevil around the face - the eyes are so vibrant and full of life!
Definitely a piece to be proud of, and I can't believe anybody could straightfacedly talk you down about it.
