some of the most beautiful colors that our world has to offer is some of the plainest colors it has to offer...often blandish...Take Red Rocks here in Colorado. Its a beautiful area, but bland at the same time being clay red everywhere. though i haven't seen it close up to know if there is any greenery nearby, Pitures have at least suggested that there may not be any.

Though earth tone colors tend to be on the bland side, we do find some hidden treasures of that bland beauty everywhere...

Take this Piece for instance. here we have bland mixed with...well perhaps not so bland colors. The beads used in this are Smoky Quartz, Leopard Jasper, Black Jasper and Yellow Tiger eye giving this a wonderful earth tone with an interesting look as Leopard Jasper has a bright striped red gray and bage spotty coloration and the Yellow Tigereye has a simple yet layered earthtone look with a deeper stripy coloration giving a nice splash of color and and a brighter contrast to the darker smokey quarts and black jasper.

I will have more to show by the end of the week, the only problem is that because i only have no clasps left, I wont be able to hang my works on that lovely display of mine. I will have pick some more up Thursday and install the clasps then...then let the picture taking and posting commence.
