These letters say "YULE" in the same omnidirectional alphabet used in my other submissions. The alphabet is meant to be used in science fiction stories where there is sometimes no gravity and where texts can be read left to right or right to left or upside down or right side up.

The world "Yule" was originally used for a pagan midwinter festival which might last three days or twelve days, depending on which tradition was followed. In some cases it even lasted from the second week of November to January.

The word "Yule" could sometimes just be the word for "feast", among some Germanic peoples. From this comes the "Yule log" tradition, the "Yule singing" tradition, and other traditions of the Yule time, that is the "Yuletide".

All that I'm sure of is that the big grocer not far from my home has put up all of his Christmas decorations everywhere inside his store and outside too.
