In this chapter Sam finally recovers from his episode thanks to the help of his father, and after a talking with and a good bonding session, Zar'ju leaves Sam to continue his 3rd period class. Though as soon as he logs on he is in for a headache that will last for the rest of the class and Sam's patience will be tested with his classmates, particularly the Falashai Vikatri and a new accomplice.

It's getting intense! I can already foresee inviting Alitri over is going to end up with some frightfulness, though I hope there is some gentle involved too!
On a side note I do wonder how Sam hid from his family the fact his legs were bitten off, considering he has literal teeth mark scars on him. I figure that we'll be told eventually though.

His family knows about his legs, they know all his scars. It'd his classmates who do not know about his legs. His desk is wide enough to hide them, plus the shorts he wears are pretty long, like knee length. Plus it's a computer screen focused on his head and shoulders. He had to stand to show his scar while didn't have to show his legs.
