When one thinks of love, the word evokes different meanings. It can be usher strong emotion; ranging from physical and sexual attraction, to the fond closeness of familial or platonic friendship. Love can transcend the realm of the physical and can become a sort of spiritual creature. A profound oneness or peace of mind, so to say
To me, in a weird way, love is like that piece of gum you stick under a desk. You chew it, it tastes good. Soon enough, it looses that flavor and you hide it away. Some people will put that piece back in their mouth, and sure enough that flavor is back with a bit extra.
So I put this to those who want to answer. What do you consider love? I know this can have an endless number of variants, but I just want to know.

It is true that is the definition of love. I guess what do you call love? To you personally, is it a physical thing? Or material, or spiritual? I know when I met someone I loved, it felt... mushy and muddy. It didn't feel quite right, but did in a sense. But when I do something I love, it feels right. Its a more content feeling I suppose. I dunno what to make of it.
Such a philosophical question you must define on your own.
Things connect, things feel right, and those bonds are an element of which the entire universe stands. Physical, spiritual, emotional, material, it matters not, it is an observed phenomenon of attractions between things.
Truth be told, like the illusive man you compared me to, I cannot express a fine answer of defined feeling or emotion to help your question.
