Nu'Nyxia Urban Warfare
The Luxio/Liepard hybrid slowly moved through the concrete long grass of suburbia; her car dwarfing paws lightly shattering the streets. She looked to her side to see her warrior companion Artemessa the Flaaffy doing the same with her bow in hand.
Nu’Nyxia could feel her own electric aura pulsing from her body, dampening the sounds her colossal body would otherwise be making on the tiny mortal environment. In both hands she held her custom Tiberon Prime assault rifle to skim the area as together they approached a massive shadow beast tearing up the business district. The distant booms and crashes would have made the two warriors inaudible unless one stood close.
Artemessa partially glanced at Nu’Nyxia, only the black void her mask’s eyesockets suggested the sheep’s eyes were on Nu’Nyxia. She raised a hand and gestured with two fingers at their target. The Flaaffy nodded and they broke out into a run moving apart.
The force of their bodies on the environment nearly overpowering their sound dampener auras but it still did a good enough job the beast was unaware of the attackers.
Nu’Nyxia leapt over an elevated rail line with a stationary train, reflecting the area was void of inhabitants; wisped away out of danger. Four steps on, Nu’Nyxia came to a knee at an intersection and took aim at the beast’s head, still roughly a mile away.
Artemessa in the distance drew her bow and released a supersonic arrow at the head. With split second, careful calculation, Nu’Nyxia fired her rifle at the area of the beast the arrow would hit, her armor piecing rounds traveling faster to crack the hide and let Artemessa’s arrow strike unhindered with its holy divine power. With a single arrow they would cripple the beast and finish banishing it to the shadow realm in one swift swoop.
“Gotcha” muttered Nu’Nyxia as a bright shockwave of light emanated from arrow’s hit.
A few weeks before the death of my Grandmother, I was called randomly by a cousin who I had not talked to in probably years. She was so ecstatic and wanted to talk to me about the Godzilla movie, King of Monsters, that came out and how amazing it was. She knew I grew up on Godzilla but to her disappointment, I hadn’t seen it yet. Disappointed, she wasn’t able to talk to me about it and encouraged me to go see it.
Fast forward to the funeral, she was there attending for the weekend. Most of my family knows I’m a career artist, they just don’t know the fine details for reasons you can probably guess. |3 While eating at dinner, my cousin said she wanted to commission a piece for herself that she could physically frame and put up.
After coming home, I thought about what I could do. I figured I could do some generic Pokemon fanart for her but she really wanted me to do something that was truly me and what I do. You all know I do macro, perfect for Kaiju (Godzilla) inspired ideas, so I figured, why not draw one of my characters in such a scene?
Obviously, doing a picture for a non-furry meant I couldn’t approach a picture like I normally could with most of my characters and their extreme hourglass figures. But I realized my Luxio/Liepard, could be drawn in such a way to get around this problem. And thus, this composition was born. That is why it doesn’t have the usual Eclipsis flare of boobs and prominent hips. I did include some good paws because most non-furries wouldn’t realize that is a kink.
Yah, this picture of Nu’Nyxia is beyond badass and I’m so happy at the prospect of someone actually putting this in a frame and probably on a wall. I can’t wait to eventually get this to my cousin!
My cousin did get the picture and did frame it. She loved it so very much she wants to call it a family heirloom, so it has a bright future. @.@’ Also because I knew this was intended to be framed and last, I took the effort to draw in correctly sized for a picture frame on good quality art paper.
Done with Prismacolor marker and Prismacolor and graphite pencils on Strathmore Bristol 300 series Smooth paper, 100lb.

Really great work with this picture! And that it's framed now too even better ^^
"Concrete long grass of suburbia" is certainly an interesting way to describe buildings and the like XD
And always interesting seeing more of the interactions between members of your cast and even how they interact with the environment.

It was fun going to Denver over Christmas and seeing the physical copy on the wall. She picked out one of those glass floating frames for it. So it looked pretty fancy and modern for such a futuristic cat.
Aww, thanks so much for reading that! ^.^ I had a lot of fun with the descriptions. =w=
