This is Suka, an atypical Newfoundland/Newfie. After countless failed relationships with both menand women his best friend convinced him to post a personals ad. Suka is pretty much a big marshmallow, he detests conflict of any kind and is very emotional and submissive, he's got a huge heart and is hoping to be married
and eventually become a father. His relationship failures stem from his irrational fears that include,
thalassophobia, the fear of large bodies of water and in his case also includes full bath tubs, Epistaxiophobia, the fear of nosebleeds which he suffers from almost daily, Leumalanstrobophobia, the fear of black and white stripes which stems from a zebra injury from when he was 5, and iatrophobia, the fear of doctors

Suka also suffers from somnliloquy or sleep talking which manifests itslf in him barking and growling in his sleep. He's a stress eater often turning to food when he feels any sort of emotional or mental discomfort.

Suka grew up the youngest of six children, five girls and him the only boy. His sisters eventually grew up to become Marines, Marine biologists, dolphin trainers, and commercial fishermen. Because of this and his various fears Suka believes himself to be the shame and black sheep of the family and dreads any kind of family togetherness.
