Part 2, set a few days after the first one. Not much with this one, just what usually what happens if Cyndie is the one to either make suggestions or somehow gets a hold of the map again... Mya still wonders how she does that.

A day and a half later…
“Cyndie, where ever you’re taking us… I don’t think we should be anywhere near this” Mya said as the trio came to stop, though the trainer would rather keep walking as she warily glances towards the large red sign sticking out of a sickly green mess. On the sign was a skull and crossbones and in large letters ‘WARNING! TOXIC LANDFILL!’
“Yeah, we aren’t meant to be here. Just give me the map!”
“No! We’re close I know we are!” the fire type exclaimed, an almost crazed, desperate look on her face as she held the map up. “See, we’re going in the right direction!”
“I told you, Mya, should of just given me the map” Inari replied as she looked at the toxic landfill with a wrinkle of her nose. “I knew this was here. I did try to warn you.”
“Inari, not now” Mya shot back towards her before approaching Cyndie. “Cyndie, what makes you so damn sure we are getting close to… whatever it is you are leading us too.”
“It’s on the map here!”
“What is?” Mya asked getting closer.
“It’s going to be something dumb” Inari said in a know it all tone.
“Shush! Now Cyndie… what’s this way?” she asked again, more calm as she looked at the map. “… Y….you got it upside down… what is in this direction?”
Cyndie pointed at the compass printed on the map, where the north arrow was coloured a reddish orange colour, the rest being a sort of pale colour. Mya just looked and pondered just what the hell was this way.
“Carrot Cake, is this way!”
Mya just stopped, her whole body just going stiff as she hears it. “C...carrot cake?”
“Yes! It’s this way. The map says so, see! Cake with a big, whole carrot sticking out of it!”
The collie just blinked several times, as it finally sinks in. Her head went into her palm as Inari started to laugh. “Cyndie….”
“Yeah?”
“THAT’S THE COMPASS YOU DUMB BUNNY!” Mya shouted as she snatched the map off of the Cinderace, causing her to blink a few times in startlement. “Inari, find us a shortcut back towards a nearby town. I don’t care if it’s by a river, or muddy or over a mountain or all three… Just get us the heck out of here!” She ordered, thrusting the map towards the Inteleon before grabbing her other starter by that small tuff of fur that was a tail and started to pull her along.
“But carrot cake...” she whined as Inari led the trio away.
