Airolan was born on Severon Prime and would probably still be happy and content on her family's salt farm as it was prized in the core for its taste, but that was before the mandalorians and the Sith. Attacked without warning the warriors of Mandalor decended on Severon Prime destroying everything in their wake. The republic and the jedi who lead them did eventually drive the Mandalorians back but the cost was too high. Seeing defeat the invaders set a Catalyst through the planet destroying the salt it was prized for on most of the planet. Airolan found her place in her planets resistance and was instrumental in pushing them off her planet so when they left she signed up with the Republic fleet and by wars end was captian of a Heavy cruiser known as Chances Bane, it was named thus because Airolan never took a chance with her mission or her people. Everything was calculated and timed to perfection and her victorys were many and surviving enemies few. She also had a black mark on her record as being outspoken agaisnt the jedi tactics and their reluctant to do what was needed for victory and blamed them and their " peaceful ways" for the cause of the war lasting as long as it did. True they were excellent fighters and could turn the tide of a battle but in no way should have been given the rank and influence they were given. So it was to everyone shock when Reaven and Malik split that she did not go with them simply stating she was happy to see them gone always having suspected this was all they wanted anyway.
