And I wanted to put this bumper on my Lincoln after I fix it up, so I can drive through things without having to worry about anything.

That's why i'm always cleaning windshield myself, while car is warming up. Little work with brush = Warm-up for myself + Extended life period of lever-mechs.

Unfortunately the snow got packed underneath the hood, as the wipers were being used, and prevented them from retracting fully when they were turned off.. But I can also see where the snow would prevent the wipers from going up, and damage the mechanisms too.

Hmh... maybe that's why they aren't building such anymore.

Indeed.. Car companies should go back to these style wipers though. Its harder for the police to put tickets under them.

I have yet to see what my Lincoln will do with snow. But I hear stories from my friend's Crown Vic.

So as "hiding" headlights. Why don't they build them anymore?

It's looks astonishing, when you don't need them, car looking like an hell UFO with theese stretched parklightts. (talking about vette c4)
