Gah! It took me forever to texture the eyes. Damn max kept crashing on me at least 20 times before I got it to "stick". Messy of the messiest. *smashes computer with a sledgehammer, realizes what he has done, and tries to glue it back together* Give me a sec here. *glues and tapes the computer sorta back into shape while it spits sparks and an occasional burst of flame* Ok, back on. I hate, and I mean I hate uv unwrapping. Just as bad as rigging. And I have to do the rest of the body. :( At least I'm gonna wait until torward the end for that mess.

He's got small beady eyes. Yeah that's the ticket. Maybe if I had actual eyelids. lol. I was just happy to get those darn things to stick without disappearing or crashing. It seems max expects you to do the model shape completely first and then texture. I tend to go back and forth. I'm a big tinker and always adjust stuff (I'm never really finish). Make a change and boom! The texture disappears or it'll just crash. Bleh. But I found that if I collapse the UV unwrap modifier, then it'll not disappear (so far). I hope that'll work in the future. Why don't the tutorials mention these things? At least I stumbled upon the answer (after hours of crashing). ^^~@~^^
