I actually drew this back in August out of a whim. There was no specific reason I did it, I mostly thought it would be funny. Sometimes I think we all get to this place for a little bit, be it a bad conversation, or a long day, or just someone nagging at you.

Ahh, I see. For the lines I just used a tool in Manga Studio and then erased and tweaked as I saw fit. I'd have trouble making those lines without a computer too. I know a ruler works, but getting all of those lines straight would be a challenge.
Maybe anchor some paper against a T-square and slide the edge up bit by bit? At least you could keep the same angle and straightness, the only thing left to worry about would be the spacing. Though you could work out tick marks on the edge of the paper with a ruler and slide the t-square up by those to help moderate that too.
But again, I don't usually work with traditional mediums much, so this is all speculation.

Yeah, that's probably how it's done. And I do use a t-square, though I hadn't considered making tick marks like that before. Good thinking. I just wonder if 0.25mm is still too thick of a pen. I guess research is in order. ^_^;
