This is the first picture of a series commissioned by PlatinumSnow and
dreadlighter32 featuring their OCs respectively, Platinum Chalice and Synder (or Syndie to be more accurate, since this is the female/futa version).
It wasn't easy; after all, with so much 'demon lore' existing today thanks to popular culture, it was hard to ferret out the grains of actual knowledge amidst all the bullshit. But through careful study, thorough referencing, and some exceptionally rare and ancient tomes, you had finally set all the pieces together. You had the knowledge, you had the sigils, you had the words and the salt and the spells - you were ready to summon a demon. Despite the world shattering revelation and the pumping, pounding excitement in your chest, you had been smart. Mustn't rush! Must prepare. Make sure everything is right. You were no fool, and you weren't going to call forth some being from the beyond without taking the proper precautions.
You had spent two weeks preparing the room, clearing it out entirely to make space for everything you needed. The warding runes had taken another week of meticulous and exquisite copying from your devil's tome, ensuring each and every one of the 66 symbols were an exact match to the book. Then was the Enochian symbols, the hellish iconography, the barrier spell, the second redundant barrier spell in case the first somehow failed. Another two days to mark out the summoning circle itself, and a glamour to hide it all from any prying eyes. Salt and holy water, a banishment bell, and an incantation of exorcism in case the being became hostile. And finally, the unholy bonding candle; the symbol of a pact made between mortals and demons.
Looking at your good work, you knew you were as prepared as you could possibly be. No more waiting. It was time to begin...
With the 'Daemonium Libidine' clutched tightly in your hands, you cracked open the aged, faded pages to the section you had bookmarked - the summoning spell you would use to call a demon. Over the long years since it was first penned, the people who had owned it had added to the book, leaving it as a jumble of dead languages, but fortune had smiled when you had learned from a fellow demon scholar that understanding the words was not necessary for the summoner, only the pronunciation. And so, steeling yourself for a face to face with a creature from the pits of hell itself, you began the slow, chanting recital of the words.
As you rounded on the end of the first verse, you noticed a palpable change in the air. A faint but undeniable smoky scent pricked at the edge of your senses, and the already warm room began to grow hotter. As you continued, the electric light flickered ominously, and the candles you had lit as a back-up light source grew unnaturally bright. Keeping your eyes on the words in front of you, you could tell that a strange light was beginning to form in front of you, at the centre of the summoning circle, and as you neared the end of the summoning, the light intensified, bathing the circle and your markings in a red glow. This was it! Keeping your excitement in check, you entered the final verse, determined not to ruin it now with a careless mistake. A sudden blast of sauna hot air breathed out at you as a tear formed in front of you, floating in mid-air, a rip in reality itself... and it was opening wider. Your breath nearly hitched in your throat as you forced your concentration on the final words, the rift in front of you spilling hot, red light across your body and buffeting you with a smoke scented wind. And with one last chant in an unknown language, you finally looked up into what could only be a gateway to hell.
You waited. And waited. Any second now, the demon you had summoned would step through into your world, and you could make your deal. You knew what you wanted, you knew the deal you would make, and you knew you wouldn't allow yourself to be seduced into something nefarious. Preparing for the summoning wasn't all you'd done; you'd acquainted yourself deeply with every scrap of information you could on the behaviour of demons, even exhausting the knowledge of your fellow scholar to make sure you would be the one in control of this deal. With an anticipating smile, you stared into the blurry, almost water-like surface of the portal in front of you.
What was taking so long?
"Demon!" you finally called out loud. "I am the one who summoned you, now show yourself!"
No response. Swallowing back a twinge of fear, you dropped the book down and scooped up the unholy bonding candle resting beside you, its wick still unlit. You held it up towards the portal.
"I have called you to make a pact. Show yourself and let's make a deal."
Your commanding words once again went unheeded. You felt a nervous sweat begin to break on your brow. The summoning spell had clearly worked - the tear in reality hanging before your very eyes was proof enough of that - but then were was the demon? Had you done something wrong? Your scholar friend had assured you that a demon's name was not required unless you desired to speak with that one specifically, that your words should have reached any number of possible deal makers from the underworld. So then, where were they? A stab of panic thrilled you as you began to examine the barrier spells and the wards, had they been broken? Was the demon loose? But no... everything was exactly as you prepared.
"Demon, I demand that you present yourself to me!" you ordered, once again holding up your bonding candle. "This is your final warning, or I will break the connection." Your threat sounded half-hearted, and you knew it. You'd come so far; you didn't want to stop now. But what choice did you have...? Something had clearly gone wrong. Gritting your teeth, your shoulders slumped and you reached down to retrieve the book, resigned to ending the spell properly. And then you heard it. Chains? You stopped short and began to straighten up, looking once more into the portal. You took a single step forward, careful to keep your distance from the warding runes.
CLANK!!!
You jerked suddenly as you felt something heavy around your throat. Your hands went to your neck, your fingers clashing against metal. Candle still in hand, you quickly felt at what was around your neck. A collar?! No, that's impossible. The barriers! The wards! It was all designed to contain demonic magic, no way anything should be able to affect you while you are outside the circle. And yet...
YANK!!
With a surprised cry and a stumble, you felt something pull you, but what? There was nothing attached to the collar. Another tug, harder this time, and with horror you realised you had been pulled beyond your first line of defence, towards the portal. You tried to pull back, planting your feet and throwing your body weight backwards... and yet you slid forward. You grunted with effort as your feet slid through your carefully created wards and barriers, utterly breaking all of your protection. A thought registered in your mind that now anything that came through the portal would be free to walk the mortal realm, completely unchecked. But your concern for others vanished in a breath as you saw the watery gateway wasn't even an arm's length away. You cried out for help, but your glamour would make sure nobody beyond the room could ever hear you now. With nothing else to do, you reached out, trying to grab the edges of the portal, and the rift in reality was like liquid in your hands. No purchase. Nothing to stop yourself with. No help. And with one final pull, you fell face first into the tear.
You gasped breathlessly as you felt the change, like walking into a blazing oven. Your skin prickled, your eyes stung, and your lungs felt like they were on fire. The moment stretched on as you fell, your mind racing, your heart pounding. You were going to die! And then you hit the floor and the burning sensation stopped. The air was still hot, the rocky ground beneath you almost pleasantly sun-baked, but no more stinging, no more fire. You glanced down and let out a shocked yelp as you realised you were now naked, only a few charred scraps of your clothes clung to you as they disintegrated at your movements.
"Well, well, well," a deep velvet voice cooed, practically caressing your ears. "And what do we have here?"
You jerked your head up, the source of the voice just in front of you, and the moment you lay eyes on her your mouth fell open in shock. The creature before you was sat on a rough-hewn throne, towering above you, even while seated. She must have been twice your size. Her gleaming yellow eyes locked on yours with a strange affection as she smiled coyly, letting out a quiet chuckle. You eyes darted over her body, trying to digest everything - her horns, her clawed hands, her glistening purple skin, her silver hair, her muscular, generous figure. This was a demon. This was not what you had expected at all...
"On your feet, sweet one," she gestured with one hand and you felt that same invisible force lift your collar, guiding you to stand. You tried to cover your naked self as you rose, suddenly aware you still had the bonding candle in your hand. At least that hadn't burned away. "Come to me," she beckoned with her enchanting voice, waving her fingers and forcing you to walk towards her throne. "Such a sweet innocent thing."
"This isn't right," you grunted, trying to resist. "I summoned you!"
"Hush, dear heart," she smiled sweetly. "I heard your call, but a Baroness of Lust does not bend to the demands of mortals... even ones as beautiful as you. I was prepared to send one of my followers to treat with you, but when you opened the portal and I saw you - *sigh* - I just knew I wanted you all to myself."
"But the barriers..."
"Are nothing to a demon of my power," she cut in, drawing you nearer. "If I had so desired, I could have immolated you with a gesture and your silly little spells would have been as useful as a paper shield..." Despite the horrifying image she conveyed, her words were like silk and honey, soothing and seductive. "But I have no desire to hurt you, my pet. I brought you here to be mine, and fulfil your desires."
"My..." you choked, almost forgetting about the deal you had originally wanted to make. Trying to find an ounce of your former courage, you tried to summon some force to your voice. "I have demands, demon."
"No, baby. I know what you truly want," the demon whispered, her words sweetly intoxicating as she leaned back in her throne. "All those raw unmentionable needs, all those screaming, panting desires that swirl inside you. I'm going to give you all of them, every last one. Forever."
"No! Wait! I don't..."
"Hush now, sweet pet. You're all mine now. In my domain. You'll be my beloved for all eternity, awash forever in the ecstasy I will give you. You belong to me," her words dripped with barely contained lust. "The pact is made."
You glanced down at the candle in your hand, as the wick suddenly sparked to life, burning with a pink flame. You panicked, throwing it away, glancing back towards the portal. You saw a number of smaller demons, more around your own size than this titanic baroness, they were slinking through the portal into the mortal realm. And as the last one stepped through, the rip began to close. You cried out in protest, but the invisible force on your collar held you fast.
"Come now, my beautiful slave," the Baroness of Lust sighed with longing. "Let me show you what true pleasure is." ~
Boy, that was a long story! It just kept coming, haha! I must admit, I do love it when I feel inspired to write a nice accompaniment to a picture. So, this piece took entirely too long to make, but I can't really deny that it turned out pretty good. I really liked getting to play around with the background and visualise some good old fashioned fire n' brimstone Hell, and demonizing Syndie into a bigger, sexier, buffer beast was a treat ^_^
