i can't even count the times i've 'blown the dust off" of flash..hopefully this won't just become another dead project.. i'll add some buttons to make Nero here do things.

I used to beat myself up over doing anything other than frame by frame, but there'll be none of that, now..if it moves, it moves...whatever.

This is nice. :) The animation itself is smooth, and I see you put a lot of effort into separate parts of the animation!
However, I can totally see the separate parts as being separate layers being moved in the animation, mainly for the sole reason of the torso is moving up and down on the rest of the body but the boobs have no movement at all which make it seem more robotic. Same for the hair of her's that isn't the bangs or the ponytail part.
Though those little things were neglected in the animation(and the little things are very important to add more realism and charm to an animation), your animating of the other parts were very nicely done! It reminds me of the stand-still animations of characters in fighting games. Are you planning to add fight buttons to it? :) That'd be neat!
