I like the hard transition from the previous page! And the blood splatters combined with her conflicted expression tells a great story already.

thanks. but I'm still not happy with it though I feel like I could add more to this for it feels like I have left something out of this story. that and I don't like how the backgrounds are blank and like to make the characters feel like they're in an actual place. whenever I do comics I want my readers to be more invested with the world that the characters are in and pull them into the story more.
I know some just do things half-ass and use the whole no matter what people think they will like it mindset.
I want to make something better not just for me but for my audience as well. do this with a passion, not for attention.

Right, that's a good attitude! Story comes first.
I find the best balance is to draw one or two establishing shots/panels at the start of the scene, and then you can go easy on yourself and use "blank" backgrounds for the rest - the reader's going to be focusing on the characters through the most of it, anyway.
