Being a lesbian in no way precludes a female from having a late husband buried in the moors... In fact there is probably a high percentage of lesbians with dirt napping husbands especially in the last half of the 19th century. A woman not born into upper society often married into it and then had to take dire steps to stay there. Very dire... indeed.
