Indeed one of the more odd pokemon that I ran into. Doing the anthro version just prompted me to make the merfolk/sea monster standard when approaching most water types. The pokedex entries made Gorebyss out to be particularly vicious as a predator, impaling victims with that proboscis on its face. So I angled to use the powers that it can or will learn to simulate the spear effect rather than draw in the thing as a tongue. After all, it looks harmless until you start thinking about just what it can do to someone with that needle nose.
