At the end of the Acadia Loop Road is a road that goes to the top of Mt. Cadillac, the highest point on Mt. Desert Island. I took some pictures here too. As you can see, it is very bare up here, with only a little scrub for vegetation. This lonely tree is trying to hang on despite the heavy winds.
