On the eastern half of Mount Desert Island is the Acadia Loop Road which goes along the southern shore of the island. The views are spectacular. The next few pictures will all be from various places along the shoreline. Remarkable!

That's a really nice view. It's been a long time since I've visited any really good nature sites. I yearn for it all. Do you draw much inspiration from these sites. I dare say looking at this picture can even make me feel spiritual.

I drew quite a bit of inspiration from this particular trip. I created three Arctic Sea Bird characters for Metamor Keep because of this trip to Maine. They appear in the story "Healing Wounds in Arabarb" which is pretty recent in the archives.
