Personality
Smaragdine is bold and caring, and will always put her friends before herself even in dangerous situations. She blames herself for things that aren't her fault and is very hard on herself, leading her to be very susceptible to flattery. This, along with her naivety and good nature, has led to her being taken advantage of on several occasions, but she always finds a way to come out relatively unscathed.

While slow to anger, she has a fiery temper when provoked, but also possesses a submissive side, which some of her more cunning enemies have used against her.

Background
Smaragdine is an adventurer and former demon hunter of moderate renown. Along her travels, she met and fell in love with a demon lord named King, leading her realize that not all demons were evil. The emerald she carries is a gift from her late mother, and is her most prized possession.
