On our third day we went down to New Harbor and Pemaquid Point first to do some sea kayaking. We arrived early so headed over to the Pemaquid Point Lighthouse. This is the first lighthouse we were able to get close to. This early in the morning it was closed, but after kayaking and lunch, we were able to go inside and up to the light!

This is the lighthouse featured on the Maine State Quarter as well.
