Sometimes a simple art can speak volumes more than a masterpiece.

It has a very macab feel due to the subject and yet force's the viewer to question the ticket stub and it's connection to the story of emotions within the work.
I find the hollow/dead eyes to be the Finishing touch as it lends further to the Dark Mystique of the overall work.

Forgive me, I don't usually praddle on but this work has touched me and I feel it is just to relay my feelings about it.
That and you discarded it as a "simple work".🙂
