Biomutant Jagni FanArt
Ah yes… Finally to my favorite tribe of Biomutant: Jagni (prepare for a mini essay because I have a lot to say). Listen they m a y be evil AF but their tribe aesthetic is on point. Black samurai armor can never go wrong. That and their weapon is the most useful of all the tribe weapons imo (that fucking stick can hover and stun lock opponents) I actually think their human-esk masks are to invoke human imagery (since humans are basically extinct in Biomutant after their greed destroyed the planet)
I actually find their dogma the most interesting too. They want to become “omnipresent and most importantly, feared.” Which is the oddest reference to Niccolò Machiavelli’s “The Prince” I’ve seen. But I think it’d be the most effective method - along with the resource hoarding - of controlling the other tribes since all their views are so… polarizing.
Also don’t @ me but the jagni Sifu has the most characterization of all the sifus and is the hardest Sifu to fight too (keep in mind this guy fights with a s t i c k ). First off, :SPOILERS: but when you finish the tribe war with a light aura tribe this Sifu (for time’s sake we will use his canon name, Dusk, even though in-game all the sifus’ names are randomized) will always hesitate joining the rest of the leaders - fuck even the Biomutant-furry-Hitler equivalent joins in quicker than Dusk. I love that because it’s one of the few subtle unspoken moments in this game where that hesitation speaks for itself (subtlety is rare in Biomutant) I just wish the game had more of those moments tbh.
I like to think that Dusk would be biomutant’s answer to Cluny the Scourge (from Redwall) - extremely talented, conniving, and chaotic. Hell just after I won the tribe war with jagni he literally Lowkey threatened my character (which is what that mini comic is about).

I really wish this game explored its characters more and made the sifus more distinct from each other. Maybe even special side quests involving the tribes and specific nps (pichu-boom, jagni-klick, etc) Christ just hire me to write this shit out lol. We deserve a nuclear apocalyptic furry heist.
