Imagine having a guardian to watch over your kingdom for millennia. Someone who was immovable, someone who protected and just watched from afar. There was no telling how big he was- how giant, but in the little town's folklore of a lapin demigod, someone who watched from the hilly landscape far away, only intervening without a word when something threatened the townspeople.
Nobody knew how he got there, and nobody knew where he went later. Millenia passed without him returning, and the giant became just another myth of the kingdom of the past. But one day he came back. Even the protectors need a rest.
