My original version of Nelvana was a polar from North America who went on a fishing trip and ended being blown of course in a freak storm and ended up joining the crew of a British Privateer. This version is a human with a polar bear like mutation set in the world of My Hero Academia. She's part of a class of students from other countries. Nelvana is from Canada. While the she has the same base personality as the orignal Nelvana, she grew up speaking English (as well as the language of the First Nation tribe that her family comes from. Haven't decided what tribe that is yet, but I'm open to suggestions. Inuit comes to mind) so she is less shy about talking and doesn't appear stoic. She is still laid back, and a bit more fun loving, and very protective of her friends and family. Right now I'm thinking her hero name would be "Polar Girl" and her quirk is actually Magnetism. The name is deliberately misleading, so villains who haven't encountered her will assume that has cold powers, or that her humanoid polar bear form is her quirk. I'm thinking her costume may be similar to Power Girls but without a cape and with a dark color one piece swimsuit, though I am open to suggestions at this point.
