Auru started as a dungeons and dragons character so they have some of the scarring and stuff from that.
Basically they got mauled by a violent creature so they are missing an ear and has scarring on the cheek that’s covered by his hair, got his ear scratched on his other side and also has the arm scar. It’s why the bunny version of auru has the marking on his cheek and arm
