Tifa's lips curled into a lazy smile as she chewed yet another bite of yet another slice of pizza. She must have eaten hundreds of the pies by this point, but each mouthful still tasted so delicious to her, enough to cause her to let out a deep, sublime moan. She didn't seem to realize where she was, the things she was surrounded by, or even the what had happened to her body since she'd gone missing. All that seemed to hold her attention for days, weeks, perhaps months now was that next, greasy, wonderful bite.
At least until he walked through the door.
Tifa's fixation was broken for the first time in a long time as she heard a familiar voice calling her name. She almost didn't bother to look at the speaker as the scent of her meal tempted her again, but she was able to pull her thoughts from it long enough to gaze over her shoulder at the blond haired man who now stared agape at her. Despite knowing him for most of her life, Tifa couldn't recognize him at first, until memories of her dear friend resurfaced through the fog that clouded her mind.
"Cloud...?" Tifa grunted through a mouthful of sauce and cheese, gulping it down as she registered the shocked look on her friend's face, "Is something wrong?"
One of my older traditional pics I drew last year that I never got around to uploading on here. Would like to do a proper digital version of this someday if there's interest, possibly as part of a sequence with a full-length story as well.
