The windows and the red brick on that building really bother me. I say we just cut out the gryphons and tare the rest down to make something less... ugly.

I guess that's just my opinion though. I hate brick buildings. And Tic-Tac-Toe board windows.

I like brick buildings, but maybe that's because I grew up in the Midwest, where entire downtown areas were made of red-brick buildings. The windows in the building pictured here are obviously replacement (vinyl) windows, with fake mullions (crosspieces) making the tic-tac-toe pattern. There are some more gryphons similar to these adorning an even uglier brick apt. building up in the university district, gotta get over there and get pictures of that.
