What would you think of a comic w this background style?

I’m planning a bigger comic project and I need to come up with an optimized style so I can draw each background within an hour to an hour and thirty minutes. How would you feel about this style? Should it be simplified more? What shortcuts do you take to make backgrounds and still have it feel cohesive?
