That is a tractor designed for fruit groves. Low slung, narrow track, designed to get under the low-hanging branches of the orange and apple groves.

Ah-hah. And the 'roof' is to keep branches out of the machinery. I thought it might be a portable power-plant.

Deere calls them Specialty Tractors. They also make tractors designed for high crops, like sugar cane or hops. They also got tractors built with "granny gears", designed to go less than 1MPH, some designs can only go .15MPH, excellent for assisted gathering by crews.
