In a vast arctic wasteland, two unfortunate young monsters were left behind during a fierce blizzard by their kin. In this unforgiving tundra, they were forced to fend for themselves with no one to help them. It was brutal and they would have not lasted even a week...were it not for the chance meeting with each other.

Initially the Jagras male and Tetranadon female met each other with hostility, terrified that the other would try to slay them for food. Once they were both beaten, the tried to retreat but collapsed from exhaustion. Hours went by, both surely to meet their end in a frozen grave. Out of pure desperation and will to survive, they dragged themselves to each other and huddled as close together as they could to survive the piercing blizzard's cold. They endured for a full day...yet survived.

From this near death experience, the two began to trust each other and began to roam the land as a pair. As time went on, they found a cave together, hunted together, fought together, survived together.

Years passed and the two became the undisputed rulers of the tundra they were once left to die in. Their combined might was more than enough for even predators who were at home in the cold. They shared the bounty of their hunts and were extremely successful (their heftier bodies being a sign of this)

Soon enough, the two who were once strangers were more than just partners bound by the will to live, but rather star-crossed, unlikely lovers of different species. And nothing would tear them apart.


I do love my CHONK monster hunter monsters. This pic is actually the beginning of a comic series I want to get. I just wanted an intro pic to explain how these two lovely chubbies got together!
