One of my neighbors has a GSD pup that they put outdoors on a tether for up to an hour sometimes. The dog likes me and wants to play, but I won't go over uninvited. One day I decided to get into my GSD partial and say "hello". However, by the time I got into character and outside, the dog had been brought indoors already.

I'm kind of in the "Middle of the road" with the breed. Most I've met have been friendly, but the abused individuals that become "Status Symbols" and attack anything on sight without command have given me reasons to be cautious about approaching any "GSD" alone.
