"So this is the town, huh? Wow.. it's even more lively than I had originally thought it to be! I wonder how the locals are around here, I just hope they'll enjoy my company."
Meet Pin! After tireless hours of designing, I am finally happy with how he looks! From his mothy looking antennas to his floofy buggy feet, he's gone though a LOT of design changes, both in species and color palette.
Always wanting to make an insect character, I originally intended on having him look like a praying mantis, but the design was a bit too simple in appearance, so my second choice was to go with some purple looking honey pot ant. While that idea did stick -for a little bit!- I was still unsatisfied because I believed it to be to flashy, so I scrapped that as well.
Running out of ideas of what I should make him out to be, a life-inspired situation flew in to my room the next day, it was a common moth! (I was pretty startled by it mind you.) While it not a maple rose moth it still gave me the idea to make one, so after 20 minutes of trying to capture said moth, I got straight to working on the next few days with a design I knew I would finally be happy with!
Well after that long winded story, I do hope you'll enjoy Pin as much as I do!
