very beautiful work. the white does actually work quite well, and the gold and blue trim sets it off very nicely. The owner bought themselves an outstanding piece of artwork. Kudos HB.

Lovely work, as always. If I may ask - Was this entirely done in watercolour? How do you go about adding tiny details, such as the decoration on her dress?

Ink and watercolour. The outlines of course are ink. The rest, including the little details on the dress are all watercolour:)

But then, how do you apply the paint for those tiny details? Some really small/ pointy brush, or something... ?

I use different size brushes. The tiny details on the skirt were done with a 0 size brush. Not too tiny. I just use the very tip.
