I won't let Buzzy go, but I'll give you a nyah! I found this photo at my grandparents' house today. I was a cute kid, but liked making faces at the camera. I think this is from when we just moved to the Pittsburgh area from Chicago.
Nyah!
What this would might like today.

I notice the TV in the background. They sure don't make them so nicely any more. It reminds me of when I was little, only my folks never bought me any plush animals.
The bear is my teddy bear, Buzzy. My mother gave him to me when I was half a year old, and I have had him ever since. I keep him on my bed, and I will take him to the grave with me!
That TV lasted a long time. It was older than me, and my grandparents had it until about 5 years ago when it finally quit for good.
Older TVs were built much better than anything we can buy today. My grandmother's that I watched as a kid, lasted for over 30 years. Now people are lucky to get 5 to 10 years out of a newer TV. Sadly, the trend towards cheaper stuff has gone over to plushies too. Plushies made from around 1980 until around 2000 were the best quality and most durable. Now they are more like cheap junk they expect people to get rid of away after a short time.
