Marvel's Weapon II aka "Wolverteeny"

A bit of a more silly paintober today, and it's the result of learning about this amazing canon Marvel character. It sounds like a fan character, which makes it even more amazing to know it is canon, haha!

It is basically an anthro squirrel form of Wolverine - it's decked out with an Adamantium skeleton, "Wolverine" claws, self-healing, and increased intelligence! I can't believe I've never heard about or seen this character before, it's too adorable! Even "Wolverteeny" is a canon nickname for it - I can't get over the sheer ridiculous of its existence!

I learned about the delightful existence of this character after listening to an episode from a fun podcast called "Binge Mode." They do deep-dive discussions/analyses of a bunch of media series, one of which is going through the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies one-by-one. This was during the "Captain America" binge mode episode.
