It's a little-known fact that His Majesty the Kingaroo was once a star halfback for the local team. His fancy footwork made him a fearful opponent. He could even dribble circles around those agile wallabies.
I like kangaroos. I like soccer. It was inevitable.
I'm also told that the Australian Men's National Team is called the Socceroos - go figure! Their kits are yellow and green, though.

Just a pondering actually, an after thought, how would a roo play soccer? Do you think they'd sweep the ball with their feet or bop it with their head? Bedknobs and Broomsticks aside, cause it was very cartoony and defied natural laws of body motion. It would be astounding if you could draw a few poses to propose how a kangaroo would knock the ball around.
