Opened up a boxset of sketch pencils which I shelved long ago, and it turns out that they work a lot better for shading. Went back and fixed the shading of the left side of the foreground piece of rock and part of the background.

Oooh that is beautiful I've seen book covers and old movie posters that didn't look as beautiful as this and it's not even finished yet. X3 Sweet/nice. Love following along in the process like this :3

I'm really impressed with the shading on the rock surface - particularly at the reduced size, it could really be a black and white photograph.
