Zelendur ! This one is her angry mood version.
Since Shenmi is especially there to give my depression a face, it was clear that she needed not only a sad mood version, but also the one that shows frustration and sheer anger. It is, quite honestly, the worst of the emotions for me to control. Frustration and anger lead to many bad things in my case. I can deal with sadness, but anger gets the worst of me. That's why the water in her hair turns to blood, kind of symbolic for the selfharm I tend to do (dont worry, its harmless in my case luckily). Yeah...
Shenmi is a timid and quiet character. She is shy, she keeps her distance but she is friendly when approached. While my fursona Molly presents the way I want to be, Shenmi is more true to myself. While I am quite open via social media, I find myself being quite shy in person. I need some time to get warm to people and I'm very awkward if people dont seem to like me.
Shenmi has different versions, depending on her mood. This is due to the fact that I have been struggling with depression for a long time now, and my emotions are kind of hard to fathom sometimes. So I want her to be open about her emotions, making it easy for others to see what is going on.
I love her feral original design, but I'm too stupid to draw it myself, which is why I had to finally draw her a proper anthro design. I think I like how it turned out.
