Silverclaw did a great job on this portrait like with most of their commissions. The scientist in this picture looks pretty happy with her transformation.
Coincidentally, I once wrote a Moreau-themed novelette with a similar transformation sequence eight years ago. Unfortunately, my story ended up being a poorly-written rush job, so terrible that it physically pains me to read it now.
