I was fixing lunch and had a couple phrases come to mind. Since I was feeling creative and I've got a lot of free time right now, I took the phrases and ran with it.

Rather than worrying about structure or rhyme, I just followed the flow and wrote what "felt" right. There's one little bit of phrasing I'm still not 100% happy with, but I couldn't come up with anything better, and the moment has passed, so I'm not gonna break it trying to "fix" it, when it's not really broken in the first place.

Anyways, this poem is dedicated to my girlfriend/mate and I hope she'll enjoy reading it as much as I liked writing it.
