Maybe for the Halloween celebrations, they'd wanted someone to play the part of a captured werewolf. With his grey fur and black mane, they perhaps thought this lion was close enough and with the way he's getting tickled he'd probably be giving some rather good howls of laughter.
Another lovely picture to end this season and a nice touch to finish this one with a ticklish lion again.
