Her original feral design was made by my bestie
Zelendur ! And it was time to give her an anthro version finally!
That said, there will be a few more coming, since her deisng changes with her mood! (By now, I have 2 other moods, sadness and anger, in mind. Maybe she'll get a confident mood, too, I dont know yet.)
Shenmi is just a beauty. Zelendur designed her as adopt for me, and she put in everything I love. Yet I find myself struggling sometimes to draw her, since I always want her to be GORGEOUS AS FUCK, just the way Zelendur designed her, and on the other hand she has lots of details that just take a lot of time. I need to draw her more often to get the hang of it! But, haha, I think I had plenty of time getting to know her with her reference sheet.
Shenmi is a timid and quiet character. She is shy, she keeps her distance but she is friendly when approached. While my fursona Molly presents the way I want to be, Shenmi is more true to myself. While I am quite open via social media, I find myself being quite shy in person. I need some time to get warm to people and I'm very awkward if people dont seem to like me.
Shenmi has different versions, depending on her mood. This is due to the fact that I have been struggling with depression for a long time now, and my emotions are kind of hard to fathom sometimes. So I want her to be open about her emotions, making it easy for others to see what is going on.
I love her feral original design, but I'm too stupid to draw it myself, which is why I had to finally draw her a proper anthro design. I think I like how it turned out.
