took him a while to claw away his restraints, but after a few minutes, he cut away the vines and made it to the next room. It was a marine biology exhibit, showcasing the many animals of the ocean. There was a tank to the side, and jellyfish decorations hanging from the ceiling. It was so well slightly breathtaking, and stunning. So stunning that as Robin walked, he didn't even notice the puddle of water he was about to slip on.
"Waaahhhh!"*thud*
The fall hurt, but Robin had felt worse, so he sat up quickly after. He looked for where the leak came from. Ironically, it wasn't the aquarium, but a water pipe exposed in the wall. There was a large leak in it, about the width of a coin. Robin didn't have time to deal with this right now, so he got up. Or he tried to get up, but was held down by a few strange tentacles grasping his arms and legs.
"Seriously, this again?"
He tried clawing at the arms, like last time, but they weren't effected by it. They were more gooey and gelatin-like, and his claws couldn't penetrate it. Suddenly, two more tentacles rose from the water and started moving around his paws.
"Hehehehey! Stahahahahap thahahahahat!" He cried in hysterics.
They didn't seem to want to stop though, possibly even starting to move faster.
He hoped that there was a way out of this, hopefully he could think of it before the tickling made him lose his train of thought. He noticed that the salt packets he had kept were at the edge of his pocket. Maybe if he could get them to fall in the water, it would do something? Salt might dry out these things, and it was also known to repel evil spirits. But in all reality, he was desperate and this was the only thing he could do.
He jerked his torso to the side repeatedly, to get the salt out, and when it did, the things vanished. Did that make sense? Maybe. Did most of the stuff that happened that night so far make sense? Definitely not. He walked to the door at the end other side of the room, and hoped whatever came next, he'd be ready for it.
