This character's name is Kensaut Brundigan (nicknamed "Kess" by Hulverias).
Kesnaut is an adult female canine woman that was a close friend of both Hulverias and Verona, until she left without a word one day. This disappearance of sorts is what caused Hulverias and Verona to go and seek her out any way they could.
