So it's "Inktober Last Friday Self-Indulgence Day" (yes, that's a real thing. ... if not, then i'm making it one now.) i'll be posting some old Marvel characters art tonight. i'm trying to have little mini-events to make my Inktober posting sort of entertaining. So it's old Marvel inkings night.
Teen art - The Silver Surfer and his long lost beloved. April '76. And this is weird even for then because i inked it 90% of it with a brush - and i couldn't ink with a brush back then ...at least i thought i couldn't. the jury might still be out on that.

Silver Surfer was late '60s early '70s Marvel liberal culture when we were trying to bet out of killing villagers and children in Viet Nam - if you became a servant of LBJ's and Nixon's AmeriKa you tried to limit the genocide, disobey a few orders, and maybe your girl friend forgot about you. That was the Silver Surfer story.
